Pool on when we hear from Matt??

I've got $5 on two weeks from next Thursday.

More importantly - when will we hear from Clinton, she was supposed to speak at 10:30 - so far, crickets. The live feeds got nothing.

They are trying to sober her up enough to go on stage.

I think we don't hear from Matt in the OT anytime soon.  Maybe on the regular forum when the snow flies.

I think we'll be surprised.  The OT is like NYSB crack cocaine... once you start, it's not that easy to stop.

I genuinely feel for Matt, as this result is likely more devastating to him than any other result could have been to anyone else here.  He's knowledgeable and passionate, so this hurts, I get that.

Of course, I don't feel bad enough to refrain from giving him some shit.

He, along with the pundits and the media, just didn't have the pulse of the nation like they thought they did.

Matt's fine. With limited debt and super aggressive savings he's going to be far better off than the average Trump voter. Unlike many people he's not worried about himself.  Like many of US, Matt loves America and wants the best for our future.  If you ski with Matt for a day, you'd see. He's a great human.

That's what margin of error is about.  The less educated white males in rural counties turned out and voted trump in.  

This was not the 90% speaking.  The popular vote was pretty close to 50/50.

What the polls did not factor in was the rural disenfranchised vote. This was the 90%, it was not 100% of the 90% but it was by far the majority vote of the 90%. Those that were participating in the economy and felt connected, those in the larger cities and pockets of the country that were doing well voted overwhelmingly for Clinton.

I guess Hillary voters were too comfortable and didn't turn out in numbers as great as she had hoped.

That supports my theory that there weren't great enough efforts on both sides to torpedo Trump.  They simply didn't think he could win and were wrong.

And Clinton actually won the popular vote, but Trump won because the electoral college gives an advantage to rural voters (who mostly voted for him).

Well. like Hillary, Matt will pout before he comes out. Probably quite bit, too. He was unhinged these last few weeks, i.e. All he saw was lies and conspiracies everywhere. Now that he fell complete off the hinges it will take some time for him to find a way back. Meanwhile, hehehehehe !

You know what I find interesting is that every single Trump supporter I personally know you could use those same words to describe them. Maybe we're all more alike than we'd like to think or admit.

Do you think Hills will be using Clinton Foundation funds for this ? Matt was quite excessive. Omg excessive. She should reward him. Poor guy posted soooooo much liberal tripe that he now has carpal tunnel in both hands, which may explain his conspicuous and blessed absence.

All Matt proved is that he thought he as a liberal was smarter than everyone else just as all the liberals did that were totally confused by this whole thing did.  Matts points continually were that all the shit - Private servers, pay for play, foundation, speechs, private and public positions, lying, classified material, Benghazi, etc etc etc all didn't matter and she would win easily.   That all has been disproved big time.  Thus he lost all these arguements and all he has to show for it is if he was getting paid to be a troll.

Coach, he literally shut down many poor, ill informed arguments of yours.  Showed your bias to you time and again.  His own too oftentimes.
