I heard all ORDA employees will be required to wear a helmet this season.
Don't ski the trees, ski the spaces between the trees.

True.  Not a fan of that.

Seems like it should be the policy of the resort.  It's their land, their insurance, their liability.  That's not lack of freedom, that's exactly the opposite.

If you want to ski on public land or your own land, then you can do whatever you want.

You can't work on my jobsite without proper PPE, I don't see it any differently...

Anybody know the specifics of the policy? Who exactly is required to wear a helmet and when? The folks at the ticket counter would pretty silly.

I heard it from an instructor, I suspect it’s anyone riding or skiing. What about a lifty going to or from thier post? Yea - i cant imagine the lady serving you a bowl of soup with a helmet.

You reminded me the one time I went to Greek two years ago, the lifties all had hardhats on- only place I ever saw that. I assume the snowmakers already wear hardhats with hearing protection so I guess we’re talking instructors, patrollers, ambassadors, etc...

Anyone on the hill and in motion.  Snowmobiles, instructors, patrol, etc.
