Open snow update

The Northern Adirondacks and the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont stand to see precipitation fall as snow for the longest, with Whiteface still likely to be the winner with accumulations from this storm. I think resorts in this part of the region will see anywhere from 6-12 inches of snow, but it will be hard to accurately measure that snowfall because of how wet it will be. By the way, it was brought to my attention to day though that Whiteface won't be operating on Wednesday.

just got back from Ithaca  RT 17 was a mess..I still think this will be a snow to sleet to rain and back to snow for everyone..hopefully enough snow will fall to absorb the rain, and then WF and Northern VT gets some upslope..

Sneaky Pow Thurs morn before stuff-face time FTW.

So far up here this storm has basically done nothing.  We got a couple inches of snow last night at 1500' and then it drizzled and sleeted on and off.  Not doing anything at the moment. If it was not going to snow this is the best case I guess for us up here at Whiteface.

From the radar it looks like VT got Jason's predicted gulley washer

I feel bad for those that are traveling especially flying today.  Hope everyone makes it where they are headed safely.

Sprinkling and dreary in Wilton.  Was just driving up Nway from exit 11, rain, sleet, snow mix until exit 13.

How are we looking for this front moving in early tomorrow morning?  Looks like concentration of the snowfall will be well south of the Cats

I don't think the cat's will get into the snow tomorrow...snow will be concentrated around the city or just to the north.
