Ah Seven Springs !.... Nice place to ski, short vert, very horizontal. The lodges there very, very nice.

Cautiously optimistic that WF will see more snow than any other P-type and that the non-snow precip will be sleet rather than that "R" word that rhymes with pain.

The forecast spread in temps over a few hundred miles is mind blowing.

I'm going to have to disagree with that..12z GFS 850 temp in 96hr-99h(sunday afternoon) for Whiteface is around +6 to +8c..Hard to support any frozen with that temp..

This sucks. Hopefully the weather d-nozzles are wrong on this forecast.

I guess the best thing to root for is the timing of the storm on Saturday night to be really early, freezing rain first to ice over what we've got, then hope that the rain on Sunday just runs off.

I don't know, I'm going to be in North Carolina this weekend anyway. My next ski weekend is the 28th.
