12 degrees and freezing rain - WTF is that. I swear - I'm gonna find that grumpy avatar. I thought it was me because the long range for Tahoe was shit and the Daks was looking good, now the tables turned and it looks like I'll fly into the tail of a nice 20" dump and we get rain and shit here.

Gotta make your own snow this year cause mother nature ain't helping.

To my eye, this formation is about 80 miles east of guidance, which, while not going to help most places greatly, could be good to very good for Whiteface if I'm right.   Also seems the cold is putting up a bit better fight than expected, which is nice.

Warm air advection always wins..

It is 52 here in north NJ - it was 31 two hours ago. The rain that falls is freezing on the walkway.

Thought I would have heard the cement truck backing up and dropping off 3 inches of the heaviest mix in years in my driveway.  If only....quick freeze then a couple inches of snow.....ski and snowmobile season would be golden....if only.....
