Storm Speculation: 2/5/14

the dacks were only suppose to get around 8 inches..the storm  behaved perfectly, no surprises

It was absolutely nuking for a good two hours 1-3 in lake placid and still snowing hard.  Whiteface had 5 inches at 9am.  It did stop from 930-1130 or so today but otherwise been snowing all day.

I'd guess 10-12" at WF when it's all over.   Wish I was there.

I rode the storm today. 10-12 at least by the end of the day. It snowed all day and really came down hard the last 2-3 hours. It was still dumping when I left. Showed up around 10:30 and got last chair on the sunway double at 4pm. You can guess my last run and boy it was fun. I suspect they posted that 7 inch number around noon today. Right after lunch it started puking snow. Lots of fresh on top of cutup. BR, Darkside, and the front were a blast. LOTS more glades should have been open. Maybe they are saving them for the glades clinic. Lots of poaching today everywhere. It was busy for a Wednesday because of all the school closings. If you go tomorrow you won't be disappointed.
