Gore may be getting extra love. A 2 hr loop on local weather had a heavy snow band essentially  parked right next to Gore.

Over 30" in Meeker Hollow, 2 mi. below Plattekill @ 5:30 PM

My family's place in Old Forge was sitting at 12 at 4:30 pm. From 4:30 to 6 they got 14. 14 inches in an hour and a half. Just think about that

I hope Gore got in on that. Same band was parked over and near them most of the afternoon

that would set the world record for hourly snow fall...if i remember right the record is 9" /hr in the Sierra..

what's the consistency of the snow where you are? Down where I live we got some wet snow and freezing sleety shit at the tail end of this storm; hoping it was colder in Roxbury.

Over 23" in LP and still puking snow

Might have been wind influenced based on where the snow stake I was looking at. NWS confirmed Ohio,NY got around 11 in about the same time period so was close.

Really light fluff, as its remained in the teens all day. The increasing wind is starting
to wind pack and drift a bit this eve.  The totals 30" plus put everything in play at Plattekill for Wednesday.
