Meaning simply that there is plenty of whining and sniveling about the NY places by the people who live here, we don't need to compound that with whining about places in NJ from some kid in NJ. I never even heard of a ski place in NJ until a few months ago and I don't care to hear anymore - I am happy to revel in my ignorance.
Don't ski the trees, ski the spaces between the trees.
