The Echo Valley Project

nepa
It was always my dream to run a ski area.  It appears that the dream will become a reality this season.  I recently accepted the esteemed position of Operations Manager at Echo Valley Ski Area in Chelan WA.

Echo Valley is one of a small handful of feeder areas in WA state.  Three rope-tows, a poma, rental shop, ski school, and cafeteria, serving up 600 vertical feet of family fun & adventure.

I'll use this thread to document the fun throughout the season.  It's gonna be like Vail on Valium.

Looking forward to this thread.

I want to hear both sides: the good & the bad.

Also, Harv should fund an NYSkiBlog trip out there to ski it.

We could all hop into a VW microbus. If we take turns driving we could be there in a couple of days. Ok

OMG, could you imagine the noise...if you thought a political thread was contentious online...could you imagine being stuck on a bus and having to listen to it??
