Titus Mountain Conditions

Enjoy Valentine's Day on the mountain--after all snow is our true love :). Whether you head out with your date or make it a date for yourself, we will be open and ready with loving arms. Mother Nature has been nice enough to give us almost nightly snow showers so the conditions are superb. See you on the slopes! Dress warm as the skiing will be a bit brisk.

The temperatures have swung in the favor of snow sports paradise! There are still pockets of fresh powder to be had on the mountain and impeccable grooming to satisfy your hunger. Head to the slopes and enjoy 100% open terrain--including tubing!

Ski area marketing has a rep for being a bit loose with details so you Might want to hold your horses and post in the morning

Good point, Coach Z. The reality is that we need to hang something on the wall the night before so that it has time to be received by the various media outlets and be inserted into their early morning ski reports. We always try to place the dart as close to the center of the target as we can. Fortunately, we have a website conditions page where we can make AM adjustments as necessary. Not sure about other areas but for us titusmountain.com is always where the most current reporting can be found. So how much did you get total from the storm?  You reported 7" which would seem highly unlikely.

My suggestion is to not post here your snow totals the afternoon before.  The readers here will call BS and you lose credibility.  Post the actuals in the morning like everybody else does.  

We hear you, Coach. We'll work-in a morning update here for those times when we miss the mark the night before. I think the 7 inches you're referring to may be our 5-Day total, which is correct. Yesterday, we actually listed 6 inches overnight in our last projection because NOAA had a winter storm warning posted calling for 4-8 inches...figured we'd split the difference & hope to get close. As it turned-out, their warning was a total dud & we updated the website accordingly this morning. We'll adjust our procedure to update here when we update the site. We want current information out there too. Thanks for the "coaching"!

Thursday, 2/18: 13 hours of fun at Titus! Skiing, boarding & tubing from 9am 'til 10 pm and three mountains to explore! Fun League racing under-the-lights and Open Mic in the lounge! Friday, 2/19: Get a jump on the weekend at Titus! AM sunshine & warm temps! Skiing, boarding & tubing from 9am 'til 10pm! Saturday, 2/20: It's the WEEKEND and we've got a Saturday full of fun on-tap! Warm temps and all three mountains plus the Snow Tubing Park open from 9am 'til 10pm. Family Fun Day is in session with all kinds of activities for the young & young-at-heart! CHALLENGE Racing starts at noon...open to the public! Duo will be rockin' the lounge LIVE in the evening! Sunday, 2/21: Tubing, skiing & boarding OPEN 9am-4:30pm. ***************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Mother Nature has decided to be fickle once again; Titus Mountain will take the next few days to regroup and regroom so we can continue to offer awesome ski conditions! We plan to re-open Thursday, February 25. Stay tuned!

While Mother Nature has us down, she sure doesn't have us out! We are conserving some of our snow and plan to re-open this Saturday--keep checking www.TitusMountain.com for daily conditions and reports!

The wait should be worth it! Our snow has been given proper time to drain and our mountain staff has regroomed all surfaces to ensure that Mother Nature can't keep us down. Today grab a Glazier Dog from our outdoor grill or rock out to the best 80s tunes spun in the lodge. Your wait is over!

The Upper Mountain is open once again! Fresh snow throughout the night is sure to bring a smile to your face. Head to the mountain for some freshies and finish off February right!

After a great weekend of fresh snow and great times, Titus Mountain staff will be working hard this Monday-Wednesday trying to bring more trails online for the weekend. Please be patient as we improve our conditions and re-open on Thursday!

Thursday starts the weekend at Titus with skiing & riding from 9 a.m. 'til 10 p.m. with Open Mic, great food specials, and lots of fun on the slopes. We've groomed the slopes and great conditions await!

Winter is still on at Titus Mountain! Make the most of it with skiing and riding from 9 a.m. til 10 at night or night tubing in our two-lane tubing park. Great grooming and good friends are just around the corner (and just down the road)!

The Upper Mountain is open and our slopes have been groomed and re-groomed to perfection. With over half our terrain open with great conditions, head out to the mountain and enjoy a blue bird day!
