Titus Mountain to offer Lift Tickets to Closed Alpine Ski Area Passholders
January 2, 2015
Malone, NY – Titus Mountain Family Ski Center will be accepting valid 2015-2016 Season Passes from other area alpine mountains who have found it difficult to open their slopes for the current ski season.
“We’re all in this together,” said Chris Monette, an owner of Titus Mountain. “Despite some hiccups this season, we’ve been able create a really good trail system so far thanks to our snowmakers and groomers. We want to pay it forward.”
Titus Mountain will be offering a free lift ticket at their ticket counter to any person showing a valid 2015-2016 season pass to another alpine ski resort that is currently still closed for the season but plans on opening at some point.
“We’ve come to learn that skiers and snowboarders stick together and everyone in the industry really tries to help each other out,” Monette said. “We want to help continue the passion of skiing and snowboarding. Even if Mother Nature puts a damper on winter fun sometimes, it’s always snowing somewhere.”
There are certain limitations and regulations on free lift tickets available. For more information, please call (518) 483-3740.
