Winter is back at Titus and today is going to turn out to be a particularly pleasant day. Wear an extra layer or two but the sun will be shining for most of the day to help keep the chill away. The mountain crew are our silent ninjas this week, grooming out areas that were affected the most by the warmer temps earlier and our snowmakers are finishing up their progress on our major trails so that you wouldn't even know that Mother Nature has had her ups and downs this week. When you venture out to the mountain you'll find a nice collection of machine groomed corduroy and loose granular trails. Thursday Night skiing is here alongside our weekly Open Mic Night and Prime Rib Dinner special. Start your weekend a day or two early at Titus! |

1.27.18 The weekend is here and sunshine is our special guest. If spring skiing gets you jazzed up, then today is the day to be at the mountain with temps hanging right around 40 degrees. The past few days temps were in the single digits and teens, so the snow will be packed and hard for your early morning skiing while temps will be nice and mild. Clouds will roll in as dusk sets in and we’re hoping Ma Nature will bring us some snow. We’ll be skiing & riding on all 3 of our Mountains, with our main groomed trails on the Upper coming online in the A.M. Ski Patrol and the Mountain Crew will be taking some final runs through some of our other trails and we are hoping to bring more trails online later in the day, weather and conditions dependent. It’s military and law enforcement appreciation day as well so make sure you tip your hats & helmets to these ladies and gents who have served, and continue to serve, the country and your community. Plan B will be rocking the lodge from 5-9 p.m. while we “Howl at the Moon” with Blue Moon specials and more. Break out your favorite spring gear and come rip up the slopes! |
If you missed out on some wonderful spring-like skiing yesterday, you’ll find that today is going to be another mild day with comfy temperatures sitting in the mid-30s.
While those who are up for a bit of adventure are going to find it on some of our “Forever Wild” terrain… corduroy cruising is where all the fun is going to happen today. Our groomers have flattened out fan favorites and resurfaced and refreshed them last night. Snow is forecasted for the end of this coming week with snow-making temps midweek, so we plan on reopening some of our favorite Upper Mountain trails by next weekend. Get your ski on, weekend warrior. |
You know what they say? A bad day of skiing is better than a good day at work.
