Don't get me wrong their seems to be some pretty cool very helpful people on here but it only takes 2 to fuck it up and make it look like pansy ville

I am helping my dad who is being taken advantage of by my alcoholic brother and brother-in-law if it was just one idiot alcoholic they know and get embarrassed and stop but when theirs another alcoholic jack ass that drinks with him then he thinks he is right, just like this crap oohhh too many people, ohh yes don't go be a sap and sit like a wooss on the couch

That was quite a rant. I spent my day probably a lot like many of yours, hiking. We had a huge storm in the high peaks. Checking on some favorite touring trails to see if their still navigable. We all get our stoke in different ways and at different times.

Back on topic . . . I don't have a reason to drive north of DC this winter so will open my ski season in NC the weekend of Dec. 7-8.  Hopefully Beech and Cataloochee.  One reason I got the new Indy Pass is because Cat is on it and my daughter is attending college an hour away from Maggie Valley.

Today is closing day at Mt Creek Bike Park...Going to hit that up...

Then Hunta maybe around Thanksgiving or so..

I'll guess/hope for early December.

Heck yeah Jason! That park looks so good these days. I rode there once around 05 but had to rent a bike and I was still recovering from breaking my wrist and ribs.

It was good then, I bet it’s insane now.

It was a insane day..Maybe 1000 riders lift line was 1/2 hr long..
I even full on superman in a rock garden.. good times!
but now it's time to do some skiing..
