I want to know. Someone cuts you off in a lift line....ever knock them out? Some teenage punks disrespect you by catcalling you from the chairlift and then you wait for them to ski down and kick the shit out of them? Tell me your ski rage stories.

First off, I try my best to avoid places that have lift lines. When they catcall from the chairlift I let my skiing do the talking. It motivates me to tear it up even more so they know who owns the mountain. |

I'm imagining he's the teenager who got his teeth busted out. Might explain why he hasn't been out skiing this year. |

This is a bad joke, right? Seriously, the creativity here is weak. Go back and try again. |
Would have a tough time skiing in Europe.

I am in church with angels. I prayed to god asking him to smite powass.
In his mercy he recommended that I limit his post count instead. Peace be with you.

This thread could be legit with a title that wasn't designed to be so inflammatory/trollish:
"What makes you mad while skiing?" or something. Never got mad at anything earning my turns or nordic. Two incidents at Gore made me cranky. Once a patroller accused me of ducking a rope, when I hadn't. He saw me out of the corner of his eye and I guess made a visual assumption that I had cut between The Glen and Headwaters right by the Straightbrook lift. Not that I've never ducked a rope, but I didn't this time. He tried to confiscate my seasons pass and I wouldn't give it up. He told me he "didn't trust telemarkers." It wasn't my finest hour. Another time I was skiing down Wild Air on a brand new pair of skis. The binding actually separated from the ski. I crashed (sort of on purpose) and then walked down 500 vert feet to find the ski. Never found it but Tbatt posted in the forum that he'd found a ski a turned it in to lost and found. I went the next day and they had thrown it away, in violation of a written policy that says they will keep any item for 14 days. Because I didn't have the ski to return to Inside Edge I was out $550. In neither example did I come close to causing physical violence. In 15 years of skiing Gore, that's about it. Pretty good record really. Never been pissed about anything at Plattekill, Hickory, Mad River or other places I've skied.

What a complete joke. They can actually take your SEASON pass for ducking a rope? I do that shit all the time. If you duck a rope and get hurt, you can't sue(and win) anyway since it was clearly roped off. AT YOUR OWN RISK. Most of the time around here I don't duck ropes because ropes are here down south because snow cover is so light and I don't want to ruin my skis nor like the sensation of hitting rocks on every turn. But after a big early season dump then it's on!
