Looks like today would have been the day to ski, not sure why I didn't figure that out.

Jason any chance that Sunday will get more sunny and a bit warmer?

You know it takes time to cook the corn Harvey.....but it does look like this weekend could provide for some soft spring turns.  While Saturday might be firmer in the Dacks, the Cats will be a lot stickier on Sunday!

Sat looks cool and windy and cold saturday night. I think Sunday will be great on slopes in the sun...Then things might get sticky later in the day..

I agree that any snow this week is probably working against the weekend.  That's what I was pushing Jason to pontificate on.

Anything significant happening Thursday into Friday?  I see a snowflake on my stock iphone weather app.

Looks like my Cats plan for Saturday has fallen apart with highs in the 20s now.

I hear chatter for snow in the dacks.  Couple more inches and things are back in play.

I guess it depends on what forecast you check.  NOAA has temps around Platty in the low to mid-30s Sat.

Fingers crossed, with low expectations but hope of a surprise, for Thursday through Saturday morning.  Definitely a system Thursday into the day Friday, models in disagreement on track.  Should stay snow in the higher terrain.  Forecast anywhere from 1-4 to as much as 6-10 in northern mountains.  Then, upslope snow showers dropping a few more inches on that, with locally higher amounts possible.  Total crap shoot!

If your headed over to placid for the weekend I say it is.  It would be great if you could hook up with someone over there to take you on a tour.  They have more stuff than you can shake a stick at if you know where you are going.
