Which one.  Sleds are a lot of fun when you have snow.  I grew up with them and spent a lot of good time with my dad riding them.  I have been watching snowmobiling videos lately and if I lived out in the middle of no where that got a lot of snow I would have one in  a second.  

I'm looking for a used Cat --- I'm looking to spend round 3K ---- for that kind of $ it won't bother me to have it sit in the barn if it doesn't snow. Looking for a Cat because my one buddy has all the parts in the world for them and will wrench on it for beers

Our county trail system is 200 yards away from my house so easy access from the house is a major plus as well.

And you can run your buddies up the hill on a powder night.

Pulled the trigger --- 05 Sabrecat 500 --- vroom, vroom

No new hardware for me.  I did pick up a new pack, as I'll need it if I accomplish my goals of spending more time in the BC this season.  Black Diamond Alias.  I may pick up a new Pieps beacon.

I went to the local shop that carriers all the BC gear. Wow have things changed. I liked those kingpins and all the new boot options from the major suppliers. I looked at the Voile V6 BC, that looks like a perfect ski for me as well. I think I will need to get a binding like the vipecs though as I don't have enough ledge on the back of my boots for a kingpin.

I got me some kingpins for this season to.  Just have to find a good boot for them.  Any suggestions?

I use the Scarpa Freedom SL's for my pin tech setups, and I really like them.
I have a pair of the V6 BC's and previously have had the Charger and Vector BC's. I have them mounted with Rottefella Freedoms, and they ski very well. As the gear whore that I am, I just pulled the trigger yesterday on the new
Voile Objective BC's and have paired them with the Moonlight Designs TTS bindings. I believe in having a full quiver of all weapons of snow destruction!

Nice buy!
Sleds are SO fun.  It's nice to be able to get out of work and go for a rip during the week, nice flat groomed trails, no crowds.  BRAAAp

Ok. I found a deal on bindings so it's official. I'll be rocking a new pair of blizzard latigos this year. Brownski will be on brown skis. Honestly I need new boots just as much but I will probably wait a while for that purchase.

You guys will be happy to know that when the salesman at the shop asked my 10 year old where he likes to ski, he said Plattekill and Gore.
