Obviously it is situational meaning some. Richly deserve to reemed , BUT the wise leader uses Emotional Intelligence rather , than just crushing them . Actually Scotty and Marc are ON TARGET.

My motto has always been to GO HIGH rather than Low ...it takes incredible self control sometimes ( especially if you are a TYPE A like me ) but maturity , wisdom and staying within  one''s self is POWERFUL psychologically . You retain power and do not lose it ( in otherwords you adv3rsary is giving up control ).

I always advised clients in these situations and in firing people too to

1 Speak lowly and slowly
2 tell them in absolutely ZEN LIKE control terms what they did and how you feel about it ..BUT do not go apeshit .

Be YODA Not Darth Vader   Or as the guys said You can be firm , fair and not give in to base instincts . Remember YOUR other employees are watching  and you are modeling behavior or culture you wish for YOUR business

Life ain't a dress rehearsal: Spread enthusiasm , avoid negative nuts.

I wish the cancer was gone.

I don't understand the logic of undermining the business of people who owe you money.

Thanks for the support. The George Brett video was great. I went down the youtube rabbit hole watching tons of baseball highlight videos.

This post was updated on .
I've become the old man who curses at kids on his lawn.  Our company is in a beautiful old bank building (circa 1905) that needs some love for sure, and we are doing our best to fund repairs and maintenance as we go. Last night some fucker spray painted shit all over it. So bummed.  This is only part of it:

It is a sweet old building for sure.

I called the cops.  Apparently I wasn't the first.  Around 8:30 last night the cops found some kids with learners permits doing donuts in the parking lot at the elementary school, and busted them for DWI.  Released to their parents.

This morning three buildings, including ours, had "Fuk the Pigs" spray painted on them. One of the building apparently has a security cam. If it turns out to be the same kids... well all I can say is that is some quality parenting right there, letting your kid back out on the town after a DWI.

I spent a hour trying to scrub that shit off, didn't make much progress.

Have you tried this stuff yet? I haven't used it yet but I hear it's the gold standard.

We have a really beautiful park in my town with some nice Little Rock faces and waterfalls that are unfortunately defaced by graffiti. I've been wanting to gather a crew and try to get rid of it but haven't gotten around to it yet.

That sucks.  Have you considered getting some security cameras?  I mean, not installing or anything, but just attaching them to the building?  You can get them for about $100 each.

Little bastards!! Their parents, not the cops, but their parents should make those kids clean up every building they defaced.

^^^ Agree. There's a " sandblast " process for removing graffiti. Instead of sand it uses baking soda. Said to work very well and does not damage the building.

Rinse and repeat.

I spoke to our mason, he's recommending trying water only first.  The brick is pretty soft.  Trying to line up a power washer and 120 feet of hose now.

That is horrible. Good luck with the removal. So many a-holes out there that could use a different kind of tagging.
