Surprised no updates to the ADK BC conditions section...this past week has been a blur of fantastic conditions. Last weekend, the sky parted ways, and it was soooo good.

Super Sweet!! That snow looks awesome.

Thanks...it was was pretty darn good snow. I'm hoping I can avoid the rain this weekend, and still find some northern protected stashes...who knows! Looks like it might be time for another early morning drive to Jay though!

A good couple days, hoping it doesn't rain too much on the parade next week.

Hey Mike, I usually don't like sharing locations in public because I think the aspect of exploration is part of what makes skiing in the Adirondacks so cool. That being said, feel free shoot me a PM sometime if you're looking to get out and maybe I'll show you in person.

Cool that would be even better. I've been trying to learn about BC spots this season since I just got into it, trying to gather info whenever possible while still understanding it's not usually up for public discussion. We did some exploring this past Friday and were pretty successful. Nothing too crazy but it was fun. I'll post some pics.

Pretty delightful few weeks in the Adirondacks. Unfortunately missed a prime day Sunday, due to food poisoning....first ski day missed this season since mid-November...oh well, can't win them all. A few snippets from early April. Hopefully we can hold out a little while longer!

Low angle BC conditions are great. Got out today - first time since after the storms after the beginning of the season.

I wish Skimore would come back around too |
Assuming conditions are holding up decent......anyone thinking of any days in the BC in the next few weekends?

Wish I could tell you, been working like crazy since mid March. I think I will hike on Sat south of the High Peaks. I gotta get out of the house/office.

This was a big storm and there is a lot of snow in the back country now. However there is a crust sub layer and I noticed a lot of fracture lines on high angle terrain today. Be careful if your thinking of exploring the steeper terrain.

Not just on the snowmaking whales, there was evidence today, even in-bounds, of slabby conditions around WF.
