A very well known spot.

Bonus points if you skied that today! |
Anyone want to try to find some snow up high in the Adirondacks this weekend? May be the last chance of the season. If so, send me a PM

In a normal season you would have a corn-a-copia on the slides this weekend. Bennies, Nippletop, Angle, White Rabbit, etc. This is not normal. I am planning to ride the bike - that is if I can shake this damn head cold.

Looking good in there!
I found that if you take the pics with the iphone horizontal, then they load here "straight".
Skiing is not a sport, it is a way of life.

Skied the Botheration Pond Loop today (12/30/16). Conditions were very good with 6-8 inches of powder on a good base. We broke trail for most of the loop. There were a few rocks that can be avoided. We parked at the tennis courts at Garnet Hill because the end of the road heading toward Old Farm Clearing was not yet plowed. The large bridge across the East branch of the Sacandaga has collapsed, but crossing the river on the ice was not an issue. Great day out!
