Dude your forum has been getting out of control this past month. I think you're moving in the wrong direction and you need a moderhater. I'm here before this forum to nominate Scotty Jack. I believe him well suited for this job and believe his efforts will not only save this forum, but will bring it to greater heights.

HR Forum has one of the best signal to noise ratios going for northeastern ski forums. I think we're just seeing pre-season jitters which happen on all forums every year just prior to the start of the season. It appears there is a specific troll and if we all stop responding, the troll will go away. Not sure moderation is really needed here, maybe a warning to the troll, but otherwise all seems well enough for one month before the lifts start.

I wish I could take credit for moderhater cause it's one of my favorites; however, it was Scotty who coined it as well as many other ski forum terms. He's the one to save you Harv.

Don't get me goin on GSS...that still hurts. I'm sure Camp feels the same way.

You should have anonymous moderator names (ex: HR Mod 1)so the moderating doesn't turn into more arguing. Weak people will always feel singled out.

I'm on many forums covering many different interests. Some are downright toxic, some seem to be populated exclusively by trolls, others will pillory you for going even slightly off topic. This forum is a most welcome relief.

On the DVR I have the whole game and a separate recording of the 9th inning. Don't even ask me how many times I've watched the 9th inning. Nobody talks baseball on this forum, so I haven't posted about it here for fear it would invite the type of Jeter-hating that's come out everywhere else. If that happens here, I'm not responding.

My daughter, who's an even a bigger Jeter fan than I am, was at the game. I grew up with the House That Ruth Built, so I didn't go. The new stadium is beautiful, but it's just not the same vibe.

As great as Jeter's last home game was, I was stunned by the amazing tribute the Red Sox gave him. True class on their part respecting the worthiest of opponents.

All things in moderation and even at that.

I'd like to see an OT thread dedicated to DJ YouTube vids.

Never know when you'll need to see "the flip" or any of the rest.

There's this secret mountain in NJ where it snows every freaking night, it's crazy. There could be no snow anywhere and this mountain is totally blanketed. No one even goes there despite it being closer to manhattan than van cortland park!
