NICE!!! gotta love veni in the freezer.

Muzzy swamp buck----check out the one tine, it grew right straight backwards. I've never seen one like this before, cool looking rack.



Tonite is the LAST  night at camp for this years deer season. It's been great fun. We've taken some great bucks and have done our job in thinning out the doe population.  Veni for all!!!

 

I always appreciate a nice rack! Good job again this year. Now get your damn skis out so we can get some snow!!

Interesting. Never knew that could happen. I've heard of peeps taking doe w/ antlers (actually the tags read antlered deer or antlerless deer) but never a he/she.....kinda spooky

There's a lot of interesting stuff in this thread. But how many ticks come off of one of those after you kill it? Can you see them streaming off?

Keep on keeping the population down, there are way too many near the roads.

Good question. We don't have any ticks here, think it must be too cold for them?? Don't really know, but certainly glad we don't have them. I know the county just south of us (tompkins county) does have issues w/ ticks on whitetail deer, and my understanding is only deer taken near the lake.

We'll do our job to keep em thinned out fer ya

There are way too many everywhere. An old fool a couple of doors down has deer feed in his backyard and I see the same 4 sauntering over through my yard every evening around dusk. On the way they eat everything and crap everywhere. I could practically walk right up to them with a handgun and put them down.
