Coach: search function, took me two minutes: http://www.elanskis.com/en/product/amphibio-76-fusion.html Also, lose the accent on the "e," even the company does not use it. No offense, just fussy about spelling.

The model of my skis is elan amphibio 76. I snowboard slightly less than I ski. I do both very frequently. I learned to ski in 03-04 and snowboard in 10-11.
I've lived in New York my entire life.

Wish I could. Gosh darn Apple spell check refuses to let me They change the colors every year so I had not seen that graphic before. It's very similair to a ski I've had in the past but with out any Ti in it. That length should be fine for you as that ski is softer than if it had metal in it. I find the 82 width more versatile and I ski in the bumps mixed conditions more than you probably do. You'll have fun on those. sno I don't think you ever told us you boarded too. Not that it matters

had an appointment with Richard at Inside edge in Queensbury to set up my new boots. It's really with it to spend the time with a pro boot fitter to get your gear dialed in. Some iof the adjustments he made were ramp angle to match my dorsiflexion, canting, and some adjustments to the boot to compensate for a met head and 6th toe issue.
If you guys are not spending the time and a little coin to max out your comfort and performance with a boot pro you are really missing out. Ido do this with every new boot with Richard. Imo he is the best in NY And I have to drive 90 mins to visit him but it's well worth it.

Rich helped me last fall with new boots. Well worth the time with him, He had a lot of patience with me. I really noticed last season I was more comfortable and maybe even skied abit better. I'm lucky I only live across town from Inside Edge.

I agree with you 100% Rich is the man when it comes to boot fitting and insoles.
Gotta go to know

+1 on kudos to Rich at Inside Edge.
Saw this post on boot fitting this morning which speaks to Coach Z's point: Ski Boot Fitting, Getting it Right the First Time At the risk of asking for more information than I care to receive, I wondered about this:

While we are talking boot fitters I want to give a shout-out to Garrick Dardani, owner of Steiner’s Sports in Valatie, NY. I’ve been going to him for years and he does a great job. Garrick is a member of America’s Best Boot Fitters and this past season he was a boot tester for Ski Magazine at Mt. Baker. I was in to see him with my new boots (Nordica Patron Pro) this past week and he was telling me about the testing process. He said ski testing is a lot of fun, boots are a lot more work. Anyway if you’re in striking distance of his shop and need a fitter I highly recommend him. I’ve sent a lot of guys his way and they were all happy they went.

Good article
One excellent point is boot fitting takes time so it's best to make an appointment with the top guys like Richard. 6th toe is a bone spur on you little toe side part way down your foot met head is the big joint where your big toe attaches Common problem spots for skiers. A good fitter will make some extra space for them using several different techniques.

I'm very happy with these. Easy to turn, VERY light and playful, just an all around fun ski to be on. |

I like the shape of those Camp. I'm thinking my everyday board needs a bit more sidecut.

I have been going to Cori over at Maui the past couple of years. They have really stepped up there game. It nice to be able to go to someone in town. Got the intuitions and bed liners there. The comfort lever went up significantly with that purchase.

I'm certain these will turn into my daily driver. I really can't get over how light they are compared to my 84 Pro's which are tanks. I've only been on them one day so far but I'm very impressed with them. Haven't gotten them up to speed yet due to rotten visibility and my first time out seems to always be, "OK, let's just make sure everything is still working" Hopefully this weekend we'll have better light and I can let em go a little. |

Cool looking skis, as far as aesthetics go.. Reminds me ever so slightly of Dynamic VR17's..
Which just means I'm getting old...

definately cool looking ski with the exposed architecture of the ski, I hope they ski as nice as they look! I really like the build of my prophets in the same aesthetic, and they ski great too! they ride very similar to the sultan's they replaced, maybe a little less turny on the short radius. |

I went with the BD foam injected liner, just got them Tuesday. They feel great --- can't wait to ski them Sunday. How you liking your new boards?? I know I really dig mine. |
I have had a lot of different skis over the years and these are turning into one of my all time favorites. I use them as my daily driver. They are responsive and can take a hit. When I step on the edge it grips well. Had them in a little pow and they felt great as well.
It intuition liner really amazes me. I don't understand why boot companies can not produce liners like them. I got them molded and a foot bed put in and my feet are comfortable. I am still waiting for the other shoe to drop as I just can not believe how switching out a liner can make such a difference. Yeah it almost Sat. We need a little snow up here. Things are flat and fast. |
