Griffens with a 110 brake. Camps a big dude so he might be right for him with the Jesters, but for me it would be overkill. I have Griffens on most of my skis and have never had a problem. I know Camp has some FA 84. The Marker EVO binding on those are basically a Griffen on a system plate.  

Didn't realize those bindings were/are Griffens, I haven't had any issues with them at all. If I'm buying a flat ski tho I'll go beefy

In that case I know you'll like them. They are a finesse ski, easy turner. We are goin be skiing Upper Cloud with those this season smiling ear to ear.

You were kidding about thinning out the herd, right? I mean no one wants to see deaths in the sport. You can be ok with shit happening, I think more people should be, but there's no place for "Danger Mountain" with james bond villains shooting machine guns at you as you jump off cliffs just like there's no place for "PowAss Mountain" complete with ticket writing patrollers and orange netting everywhere.

Just giving you an opportunity to back off the ledge before you have to tell more people to piss off.

My concern was/is will they hold good enough on firm groomers, I'm certain the 90's will but not sure on the 100's. Some reviews say the do and others say they don't.

They'll be fine as long as you use the skid turn technique.   Not a big deal just different from crave turns. Plus u got something under 90 for the real hard pack days, right?

They are not Griffens, I didn't mean to be confusing. The Marker Bindings on your FA84 EDT where made specifically for the EVO plate on the ski. They are similar in terms of strength and look to the Griffen. The Jester is a beefier TWSS binding then the other 2.

Going to get intuition liners soon.  Any one using them without foot beds?  I am debating whether I can get away with out them.

I tried to just do the molded liner and no custom footbed and it didn't work for me.  A good custom foot bed is stiffer that the foam on the liner.  I think you need to go for the foot beds as well.  

My boots came in and I think I'm going to love this wrap around liner in place of a tradition tongue.  It really seems to provide great contact with the front of the shin which is key for me.  Also great heel hold.  I need to just get them heat molded as they were too snug without that which is to be expected.
