If it makes you feel any better, it wasn't that good.

My daughter and I came around that first corner on Hedges in a tuck and there were all those people waiting for their "tow"...woah!  I kinda thought that was a bit dangerous...I agree Powder pass looked great but I can only do that quad once and I am not taking pipeline out...just sayin'

The Mountain skied way better than I expected this weekend...How was it today?  I'm looking at Wednesday

What he said.  Trees were amazing too. More details at 11.

Loving this snow, but not fired up about skipping work to get it for some reason. I don't know if it's a moisture content thing, or a laziness thing, but it's hard to motivate for some reason. Someone post more stoke.

A foot plus still untouched in Cave at 3pm?  Does that work Matt?  Rumor never opened Today...should be pow from headwall down...12"+ and still puking after 4pm.  I am happy I went today and am trying to talk myself into going tomorrow am but I really need to work...and my stuff is soaked from today.  Oh and High Peaks chair never opened today...but there may have been some tracks on the darkside...just sayin' if you weren't there today you should definitely go tomorrow

P.S.
Lighter and drier up top wet at bottom but the woods skied lighter than trails at the bottom.  Twister Glade was really nice

Do it.  Best day of the year by far.  Snow is classic east coast pow.  Not too wet but heavy enough to not get pushed around too much.  NOT the kind of stuff that sticks to the bottom of your skis.  That said fresh wax doesn't hurt. Front side trails by end of day were a little choppy.  I spent most of the day on Burnt Ridge just lapping the trails and glades.  I'll try to post up a video in a bit but it was pretty much puking all day so most of my video is blurry - sorry Duck I'll have to film you another day.  We were getting fresh lines till about noon.

Had the pleasure of following duck on a few runs until I had a minor goggle malfunction.  It was pretty much free snow refills everywhere all day.  My last two runs were in chatterbox and there were still fresh lines and NO scratchy scratch in there.

Can't guarantee it will be the same tomorrow but I am feeling sick again.  The north side was pretty much untouched too.  Talked to a liftie who was on Topridge chair and he said there was no wind and tons of snow.

Yes that one foot mark is at least legit and all today.  The real deal.  If it had been 15 degrees out we would have 24 inches.

Best day of the year for me I think.

It will still be here this weekend, slow spinning storm will keep at least a few more inches coming.

You guys are killing me. I can't get there till Sunday. I like the fact that its base building snow BUT its been almost 2 weeks since my feet have been  in ski boots so I'm hurting. Save some for me.
