Glades listed as open today - Boreas and MacIntyre - were closed. Glades that were open - Tahawus and Dark Side - were in great condition. So was Lower Steilhang. They're all listed as closed tomorrow. I'm about to have a Sno' tantrum.
"Closed" is a state of mind.

Radar not showing it, but we are getting some lake effect scraps.  Snow as she lays ain't blower but looks fun.

Don't think I didn't consider poaching Boreas, but I was skiing solo and there was NOBODY on Burnt Ridge.

I was at Gore today for the second time in a week. It was fantastic. There was a nice layer of light powder. Everything skied well. There were several lift issues throughout the day. I did not talk to my inside source as to what the issues were, I know early in the day it was wind but that was not the case later in the day. Rumor should be soon, the snow they were blowing on it look like glop from the lift, it was not real cold so wet was probably the best they could do. It will likely take a while for it to dry out.
Don't ski the trees, ski the spaces between the trees.

I was at Gore yesterday.  Best day of the year for me so far. Darkside was open and the lower "glade" unbder Straightbrook was also.  Lies was groomed and edgible, blowing on Rumor too.

There was a massive release of water at the pump house above the loading zone of the North quad at about 2 pm.  There is a stream bed there that should take most of the water away, but a lot still drained over the loading area. We loaded with an inch of water flowing over our skis.

That lift is back today but I don't know how snowmaking will be affected.

Which turd are you?

Looks like a bunch of folks jumping on some good conditions before they are gone. Yea - ants on a snow cone but the early ant gets the reward.

Great photo, fixed it.

Never got to the Straightbrook. Spent so much time on the north side in the morning.

The trees I skied were prime. My first time in Chatterbox since they finished it to 3B,  Man it is a sweet glade.

If you're going to report the interconnect open, then tell Patrol to actually open it.  Only trail open on the Ski Bowl is Peaceful Valley, which is really one of my least favorite trails.  Eagle's Nest not open so can't get to Burnt Ridge.

We skied the North Creek Ski Bowl for two days straight.  The conditions were terrible.  No one on the lift, woods were empty and nothing but fresh powder on every run.

And then, to top it all off, at around 11:30 this morning while we were in the middle of the Ski Bowl Glades it started puking snow.  Large flakes slowly falling in a dense cloud of lake effect moisture......just horrible.....snowed so hard that we literally couldn't see our tracks from the last run.

Thank god no one was there they would have hated it.

So you're not telling people you had a good time so you can have the terrain to yourself next time?  How selfish.

I skied today and thought it was great.  Didn't go in the woods, but all the trails below the Saddle were good.  Top was all icy.
