Here’s a few pictures from opening day today. Best first day conditions I can remember.

Snowmaking clouds were drifting all the way down the Virgil valley on the way in.

Made 5th chair this morning. Mountain looks like mid winter conditions, not late November.

Castor was open via Epicurus with all natural snow coverage. There was lots of powder on skiers right on Elysian Fields. I didn’t get a chance to venture into any of the trees, but it certainly could have been possible.
Ski the snow on the ground, not the date on the calendar. - Glenn Plake
