I am Enjoying reading the GOLDEN Handcuffs thread , im my day we called it the Velvet Rutt .
it happens to damn near everyone ,so your feelings are quite universal .With some planning i was able to escape it fairly early at 51 .
i KNOW how hectic your pace is out there today and making time for skiing is one the BEST mental health breaks you do for yourself . Matt's description of ENNUI brought a smile to my face , that is EXACTLY the term i used to describe the Velvet Rutt back in the day with my colleagUes . Many failed to understand why and how I was able to leave a job that was a peak experience , but knowing oneself and financial discipline is key
Hey its good to have dreams ,aspirations and a PLAN ...
