McCauley's venerable Hall Double ate my classic Dana Design bag today. I decided I am going to join the rest of humanity and ski with what I can hold in my pockets and forgo water, leatherman, spare mittens etc.

You can still hold all that stuff. You just need to use a flask for the water. it tucks right into your chest/side jacket pocket and everyone will ask if your drinking vodka!
