Skied Killington on Friday 5/11/18. Skiing is still really good. Full on and off the lift snow coverage. Good coverage still on Skyelark, Superstar and lower bittersweet.

A pic of Snoloco dropping onto the upper headwall on superstar:

Ha! Agreed. Is that a solid plan for next week by the way?

It's relatively solid. Depending mostly on weather. (children and dog issues could play a part as well).  I am hoping to head up Thursday night and ski Friday and Saturday.

Ray, I'd love to see and make some turns with you and yours. I think my youngest (11 y.o.) will be joining me.

You might send me. I'm still pretty desperate for one more day of skiing.

Skied a few hours today. There was surprisingly a nice turnout, and as was mentioned, coverage was excellent for this time of the year.

Every weekend, I keep saying that it might be my last for the season, so we’ll see how the snow holds up.

Would love to see and ski with ya, Harv, to close out my season.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Supe looks just lovely this morning...groomed top to bottom under bright sunny skies!

Me too. I will keep you in the loop. No Sunday for you?  I got a memorial service on Saturday.

Dammit that’s beautiful, and now my plans are getting all monkey-wrenched up again. Might still get up there on Sunday but it’s getting dark. Take a few turns for me in case I don’t make it

One and done for me this weekend, Brownski. The forecast up there is looking pretty damp the rest of the weekend. I may try for next Friday for one last day of my season.

Re: Killington Conditions

It was another gorgeous Friday up at K-mart. I think it hit 80, I was skiing in a T-shirt from start to finish and slopped on a good amount of sunscreen, although, I seem to have missed my arms!

That strip they groomed over the headwall lasted about an hour.  After that there was some side-stepping and eventually full on down walking about 20-30 feet down the headwall.  The down walking was not bad nor anything unusual for Memorial Day weekend.  It was a great way to end my season.

"S" for Superstar at about 8:30 a.m. before the lift was spinning:

Lots of snow left up on the hill:
