Great day at Mrg. Everything off the single chair skied well. Chute and fall line were picks of the day. Paradise kicked my ass. Catamount was good after the brown headwall stay far left or right. Don't bother with the double. Manky deep mixed in with lots of dead end brown and moss.

Sorry - that looks just plain stupid.
Don't ski the trees, ski the spaces between the trees.

Awesome... seriously... the was best video I've seen filmed utilizing 3 inches of snow or less.  It should be in a category all it's own.

Don't understand "sorry."

Nepa... FIS popularized skiing on 10 inches back in 2007.  Now 3" is the new 10 inches.

It's against Mad's religion to chase people off, they just pray nobody gets hurt!

Sorry because I don't want to throw cold water on the "stoke".
My thought was - don't be so GD impatient, give it some time. It's not worth an early season injury that will have you laid up for 6 weeks while the rest of us are out skiing in another 2 or 3 weeks. Then of course there is trying to resurrect what's left of some perfectly good rock skis (that are now grass skis if there is such a thing).
Don't ski the trees, ski the spaces between the trees.

Pretty sweet!  Looks like they were having a blast.  Personally I wouldn't risk the injury, but I guess that's cool they got first tracks... The internet videos of everyone trying to get famous is getting weird..  On one side it's great, people pushing each other to do cool shit, the other side of the coin is just annoying though.

Gotta say, it's great hearing Twiddle playing in the background.

Yeah.  Like if video didn't exist I doubt that video would ever have been made.

This sounds remarkably like a quote from Homer Simpson.

I guess it's fair to say that MRG has the longest season in the east.

Did they run lifts?  If not, then they did not open.  Only Killington, Sunday River, and some place in NC have actually opened for this season.  I suppose MRG could get an early opening if there were a some freak storm though.
I've lived in New York my entire life.

Nope, I stared at the post of a few seconds and went elsewhere lol, not sure where you were coming from.

Is RSN tv still alive?  I used sometimes get it to come in at our house in Ballston Lake.  I would honestly sit there and watch scrambled ski videos.

shouldn't I have been watching scrambled porn at that age?

Today (12/26) was hard and chattery. Not iced over yet since it remained above freezing but only soft/spring-like near the base. Vermont needs a fresh coat of white paint after the rainstorm. Really rough. Don't recommend skiing outside groomers/snowmaking until there is at least 6" of fresh.
