OK I have no real idea how to edit NABBLE code by I tried to remove some columns to make vertical phone possible.

Let me know what issues you see. Is it better or worse.

If I F'd it up too bad I hope I can return it to what it was.

It looks a little crisper on my phone and computer.  They both look normal to me I would not have notice you did anything if you did not tell us.

Yeah, if they would make the avatar smaller, I'd have more space to read words:

Nabble isn't mobile friendly which is one reason why we are moving away from it. There really is not too much more I can to the forum to improve it on phone, especially vertical phone.  I sincerely hope the time in between will be short. Call for bugs was really more about everything but the forum.  It is a bug almost by design.

The owners of Nabble admitted to me recently that one day soon it may vanish, we are sprinting to try to get the forum database moved.  There will be a day soon when I will have to shut the forum down for a couple days while we make the move.

They do have two settings for avatar size, I'll go to the small one.  Clearly better for phone, maybe not as much fun on desktop.

If we use the large avatars it's pretty clunky - see the post above. Very little room for text.

Realize this is temporary. We are working an all new forum. I'm hoping our current status lasts a month or less.

Better than last week. I don't think I saw it on my phone yesterday.

Last week was the forum embedded in the old NYSB, a non-responsive site. While the site is now responsive to mobile the forum really isn't. That said it is "somewhat responsive" almost by accident.

Yesterday I removed the POSTS and TOPICS column (a hack, but it helped on mobile) and switched from large avatars to small. The avatar size is standard Nabble setting, large or small. It was not done with any skill by me.

That's all gibberish to me, but I like what you've done, whatever that is.

I notice a difference on both computer and phone now.  May be it was a cookie thing on my devises that took a while for the new system to push through?

Caching ("cookies") makes the internet much faster but it can take a while to see changes.  When you are actively working on a website it can be a royal PITA to have to keep clearing them.

So I'm at my buddies I'm out for the first time in forever having a beer and watching the Yankee game and it's cool that I can easily post on my phone I dig it

Junior approves of the change by the way. His immediate reaction was "oh, this looks a lot better on mobile".

This forum isn't built to display correctly on a phone, but it does resize. So the more I eliminate, the better it "works" on a phone. It looks pretty sparse on desktop.

It's become a bit of a game.  It will be over soon, I am hoping. We'll get something real.
