Ski Day 38: The dream season continues. I knew I was missing out on a big weekend at Gore. But MIL's birthday party was super important event that I could not miss on Saturday. I considered the ten hour round trip to North Creek, but opted for the shorter drive to the Cats. Belle looked absolutely wall-to-wall when I drove by, but at this time uphill traffic is prohibited there.
Conditions were incredible at Plattekill.
When we arrived it looked like Face had T2B possibility, but we decided to focus our efforts on the double side. Plunge, Block and North Face were nearly T2B and a combo of North Face and Plunge actually was skiable without walking.
There had been so much rain that the bumps on Block were gone, but the snow was so carvable we couldn't stop smiling.
Amazing how hard it was to find anyone to ski. ScottSki rallied, and I totally appreciated it. Sharing the experience was so much better than being alone. I'm still smiling.

Great to see Laz and his team working on lift ops/maint and strategy, getting ready for MTB season.
