I checked my calendar...I have tix for Phil the night before which could make things difficult for me to be in Roxbury at 8:30. Will let you know.

Great day weather wise. Took a chair up to scope out some ideas of places to try when the snow flies. Had a real good conversation with Laszlo, really looking forward to this season. Thanks for plattepalooza Laz!

Agreed, it was a beautiful day.  We were also there and it felt so good to be back at our 2nd home like my little one told me on Saturday evening!!  Saw and caught up with a few good Platty friends.  Can't wait for the snow to fly!!!

Taken today. The mountain looks beautiful.  Oh, and the men's bathroom is really nice. 1st class upgrade!!

"We decided to postpone our opening a week. Rather than open on marginal conditions we are giving our snowmakers another week to do what they do best and open on a decent base on a few trails."

Txt from Laz:

12" of heavy wet, followed by 6" of light, major blowing and drifting, packing to retain, some areas blown to bare ground, some areas drifted 3-4 feet, still snowing heavily at 3:30pm.

any thoughts on trail count for opening day? do you think they will increase nbr of trails?
