Another good day at Plattekill. Cloudy and snowing in the morning, the sun was out in the afternoon. Once the sun came out everything was skiable.  We went after low angle trees that we could get without (much of) a hike.

JT, Stacy, Marcski and some others were skiing off the backside and skinning back up to the lift.

Having looked at maps and the topography I figured there could be some good skiing over that side, just wasn’t sure how viable laps were.  I guess that’s something else for me to explore....

We may have to stay inbounds, it's very good.

Looks awesome!  Wanted to get there today, but it wasn’t in the cards.

Looks great! Mountain's going to be crowded tomorrow (by Platty standards). But I'm sure my son and I will be able to deal with the two-minute lift lines.

Rad! Except for the crowding, looks brutal.

Skied Platty today. Skied classic eastern spring conditions-ice, hidden ice, crushed ice on ice, half inch powder from morning squall. Most of mountain closed due to ice and refeeze. Had as much fun as you can have with these conditions, skiing the same 5-6 trails over and over. Parking lot was full but they weren't skiing. everyone inside eating a delicious corned beef meal or Irish stew. A live leprechaun was present for festivities

plattekill saturday was one of my best days of skiing ever.  I saw so many facebook post about how a lot of the VT and New England mountains were jammed packed this weekend.  Meanwhile at plattekill, no lift lines and 2' of POW.  Amazing....

The sun's been out on and off and as the day gets later the bumps are getting better as they get skied in.
