You two are afraid your own shadow anyway. God forbid something real ever came up on here. I know who both of you are BTW Want me to pm you the answers?
Hey maybe yer buddy was just testing me out to see how much of a creeper I really am? Or to have a laugh with his buddies. And as far as the banning, Harv should have just banned me back then. Don't know why he didn't? Trying to prove something I guess? What do I contribute here? Nada. I wouldn't come back if he banned me. He never asked me to leave. I mean that ml guy did, but who is he? |

I guess I missed the whole big blowout with him and Harv. I bet he was a real nasty dick. He must be on some good tranqs now. He doesn't even have any fight left over at the only forum he hasn't been permanently banned from. |

Mike -- I think he crossed the line with Harv. To me those kinds of actions creep me out. |
Just now? It looks like he was banned. Must have happened within the last hour.
Honestly I don't think banning is always the best thing to do. Because now we look like the bad guy, and I'm sure Mike still thinks everything he said is justified. I guess there comes a time when you just have to put your foot down. I might have limited him to like 5 posts per day. Even 10 would be way less than he has been doing lately.

No not just now. He's been at it a while now. |
Fuck.....it's way too soon for us to start saying "we need snow"!
We REALLY need a proper roll eyes emoji!!

It's never too early to want snow.
I've lived in New York my entire life.

Take a lesson here Sno, don't be a contrarian jerk like Mikey because everyone will hate you. The comment is ridiculous, of course everyone wants snow but since it's closer to June than January and you live south of the north pole, give it a rest. |

mike seemed pretty quick to go to the ad hominem attacks when questioned on his views. it can be viewed as funny, or entertaining when someone goes off the tracks like that. On the other hand, some people really don't like it. let's look at this thread, a fairly innocuous topic, extend the ski season on a ski bulletin board. Mike goes off on global warming/CO2. Ok, fair enough, skiing is a sport of the well to do with a high carbon foot print, (clothes, cars, lifts, gas, snow making, etc) Any discussion of what to do about it was ignored, or your intelligence was called in to question, or you were criticized on where you live. I assume this wasn't the first time, so Harv was sick of it. |
Are you saying that other members such as myself should have joined Mike's conversation, and discuss solutions to the problem? Or that Mike should have proposed solutions to the problem? LOL, it is true that he was looking to criticize all of us in any way he could find. What a miserable guy, how can you go through life like that?

You're a good dude Ethan -- you get it good for you Now, can you please teach that to Sno |
I think He's learning. IMO, he has been very responsible lately. I have seen huge improvements. Ironically, it was a 35 year old that went off the deep end this time. After all, I didn't join the forum until I was 18 I learned a lot about human relations the hard way in my earlier years, as you may already know. We are all learning every day.

Been thinking about this a lot. MikeK and I have our issues, but he's right, skiing contributes to negative impacts on the environment.
After being at K yesterday, I still don't know that ONE mountain blowing one trail super deep is the worst of skiing. I watched as people from across NY and New England gathered. Not to put too fine a point on it, is that snow, the snow on superstar, the most wasteful expenditure in northeast skiing? If not or even if so, would it be wrong to put an outpost for late season in the Cats? I'm sure if Mike saw this he'd be cursin me as an apologist. At the risk of giving a compliment, I'd say Mike's work in engine technology matters way more than Killington blowing Supah, Or Platty blowing whatever.

So you drive what is it, about 250 miles each way to ski 7 runs at the end of May. You burn up close to 20 gallons of gasoline! Your the reason why we have Global Warming - your an environmental disaster.
Don't ski the trees, ski the spaces between the trees.
