Off of the Palisades Parkway exit 3. NYC owns 500 acres(don't quote me) along with the Boy Scoots of America . They have large camp next to that parcel of land. They gave permission to build "world class single track" along with a all weather pump track and skills park.

Palisades MTB which is a chapter of IMBA is involved in the project..

Wow, I can't believe how much I'm looking forward to skiing in Arizona!  The Northeast is a pile of dirt, ice, and rocks right now.

Nice. How deep would you say the snowpack is?   Looks smooth.

It varies with locations. We get a shit ton of wind deposited snow so some areas are stripped and others are loaded with 5 to maybe even 10 feet of snow. Snowbowl is claiming around a 70 inch base now at their midway snowtel and it’s in a pretty good location that isn’t too affected by wind transport.

It’s a real solid 70, a lot of stuff just came in to play with this one.

The extended forecast is looking very promising. This winter is starting to look like a banger!

I know thaw cycles and rain events are part of NE skiing but it seems like you guys can’t get a break this season.

Rain is expected but snowfall soon after isn't. I'd say the season is above average, so far.

I'm looking at that bowl, and the snow is perfectly smooth.  Looking at the ridge, it looks like pretty rocky terrain. Figured it had to be pretty deep.

That IG vid you posted was sick!

Yo Zona --- you ever compete in the King and Queens thingE at Jackson?? Or wasn't that even a thing during your time there.

Just curious.
The Corbets comp? Oh gosh no. Last year was the first and I left 18 years ago! I wouldn’t want any part of that today to be completely honest. I don’t look for big air these days, my body tells me no go on that stuff. I did have days doing top to bottom tram laps chasing after Sick Rick and Micah that started with Corbets. They would call out the run like .....Corbets to Expert Chutes to Paint Brush to Dicks Ditch to whatever and I’d chase after em all day. I was young. 23 I think.

That sounds really familiar but I’m guessing if I did not so well since I don’t remember.
