Storm Speculation 2/24/16

OK trying to be positive...We'll see when it happens.  The Euro is the most consistent and that looks worse...come on positive vibes  I am still planning on being at Gore on Wednesday...maybe Whiteface as plan B.

Chased the snow that hit Tremblant after leaving LP Saturday and driving to Montreal....pouring rain the whole way. Tremblant sort of lucked out..rain lower half of mountain, snow upper half. Wet snow, but at least it was snow.

Heading back to WF Friday afternoon..praying for a snow event of substance mid-week. Trying to make the most of this crazy season and really hoping things will improve, rather than going to complete shit. Time to bust out the Ouiga board and let the spirits talk.

I'll ask Captain Howdy what's gonna happen with this weeks weather in the ADKs when I get back to the Dirty Jerz and let everyone know! I recall saying to someone after seeing the movie the Exorcist, if I owned one of those boards I would have thrown it in the garbage. Film was way too freaky IMO.

This is my lost winter. Between the car costing me 2 grand and the weather, I'm done. My only hope is my tahoe trip in March.......

at least you have a tahoe trip to look forward to...just looked at the latest runs...
I'll probably still be somewhere Wednesday or Thursday.  I was holding hope for Placid Thursday but that is not looking good now. Hoping for a big white March in the east

Trying to justify 5 hr drive to placid this weekend....but it's getting more and more difficult with this forecast.

this is fucking bullshit. it precipitates but the temperatures are 40's? In the mountains? In the northeast? IN FEBRUARY??? It is supposed to be brick cold and every bit of moisture squeezed out of the air onto our slopes!

Last time I was corresponded with him, he was living in Maryland and working for Commodities broker

Total gullywasher where I am now.  60 degrees, torrential rain, and lightning.  Wouldn't be surprised if MC has to close down sections of the mountain after this weekend (when it's also gonna be over 50).

this isn't looking good
