No, he’s just a sad excuse.  I think Harvey has created an interesting community here, beyond skiing, where people are truly interested in others, beyond the skiing.  It’s why this place works, where most other forums have failed.

.....and then there’s MC.

MC, do you have a good, bad, or ugly story about work?
Meh, I don't consider my stories about work to be interesting to many people besides people who know the kind of work I do. Also, I don't take my work home with me, so I tend to forget any bad or good things that happen and just see what the next day brings.

Also, unlike JTG and you other low-self esteem jagoffs, I *really* don't need you guys to validate my life choices by bragging about my "wins".

Do your job and shut up. I thought you guys believed in that sort of thing.

I find it entertaining to look at a thread, go to a meeting and then back to that same thread to see half a dozen new entries.  Maybe, just maybe, JTG and MC are actually an old married couple who like to argue with each other online.....and PeeTex is MC's ex.

Nah, just two guys with different world views.

I would never make a narcissistic, self aggrandizing statement like the one below, but JTG would:
If I, or someone like me, didn’t make the commute I made for years from NY to Atlanta, or endure the 4 hour daily commute to NYC (no life sucked out, yet), then cures that come out of the CDC would cease to exist and public infrastructure would crumble.  You really want to live in that world?  Guys like MC should be thanking guys like me, guys who make the roads, trains, subways, airports, public spaces, etc., etc., etc., he clamors for possible

I also made the point, if you cared to actually be genuine in anything you say, that if I didn’t do it someone else would.  I was making a point, something you wouldn’t know about.  I’m not that important.  I know that.  But there are important things, difficult things, the likes of which the MCs of the world will never be willing to do.....and then he shits on anyone who does them.  What a lowlife hack!

I don't shit on anyone. I just explain that the way I live my life is a lot different than the way you live yours.

One advantage of the way I live my life is that I don't have to demand that other people thank me (for the simple act of doing a job that someone is paying me for) on a regional ski forum (as witch hobble calls this place).

Me thinks you are alone in that opinion.  If I didn’t have a life, like you, I’d dig out a hundred quotes, but mine would be in context!

That, and I guess I WAS a little mad.  You WERE interrupting my morning shit, which is usually around 9:00, but I’m still on west coast time.

Because I have a real job.

And have to do muy importante stuff!

Yes, responding to you whilst shitting is really all you are worth, monsieur victime!

Counterpoint: none of that happened and you guys are going insane.

What words did I put into anyone's mouth? You guys are saying dumb shit and then whining when I quote the dumb shit you're saying.

Maybe take a break from the internet if it's affecting your mental health in the way that it appears to be.

Aren't you a bit old to be doing your very first expert witness testimony?

The guys that talk a lot of shit on here always seem to have the least accomplishments.

In fact, this entire thread seems to be just a bunch of people screaming "I'm important! The work I do is meaningful and worth the sacrifices I make to do it" into the void in hopes that someone will agree with them and validate their life choices.

Just read what you wrote here. You're mean and grumpy. Try being nicer to people and see what happens.
