  Playing the Conklin course? Anyone ever play it?

Yep, been a few years but I'm sure it's still in very nice shape. Maybe pro knows??? But I don't think it's on they're tourney schedule. Last I knew it was rated very high for courses in NYS. Report back as to how you like it.

I last played there about 6 or 7 years ago. It's always been in good shape. It's pretty generous off the tee and very scorable!

Thanks I had a good day! Putter is working and that's when golf is the most fun!

Conklin is a fun course. Played it a couple years ago. I happen to drive past it today but my schedule didn't allow for play time.

 today was a bit more normal game,  shot a 40 , messed up 3 approaches so GIR's was a bit off today., but putter was true . Hey goodluck in Conklin  

Played a couple times this week 40 n a 42 in the strong wind today  . Our Course  made some changes this past 10 days . It now has narrowed the fairway s by quit cutting grass and so plays like 3  different roughs on the fairways ..

Interesting , you need pretty good control but a bit more challenging . Today. absolutely LOST 2 balls that would normally be ion the old fairways , but damned if i could find em in the long grass.. Putter saved me today

Any word from pro and how he did today?

I have a message out to him but haven't heard back. He had a 12:30 start time so he'd still be out on the course now. 7 under is leading. Like he said, these guys are the real deal and chase the Senior PGA on a weekly basis. I really hope this is the year he makes the cut!!! HE'S BEEN SO DAMN CLOSE!

He shot 78 ---- the projected cut is +2 for todays round. He's within reach of the cut but will need a low round today which he's more than capable of. I've said it before, when you play with this guy you can't tell whether he's shooting 62 or 82 ---- he's one cool cat on the course. GO PRO!!

p.s. the guy we call "the other pro" ( you've met him as well) shot -1 so he's in the hint as well. Hopefully they both make the cut and get some CASH!

OUCH.  Darn it.  Come on pro step it up and kick some ass.

What about  pro light. How did he make out?
I don't know names and am looking at clubs but still can't  figure it out

He just made it on the cut line at 149, or T90

As you can see the projected cut for today's round is +3 so he'll have to take it deep today.

Finished my golf season today shot a 39 for 9   It was a short season , the orthopedic surgeon just cleared me for play in September  . All in all fairly satisfied . Looking forward to next season

Now gotta get my new skis set up . I need to mount the bindings they and the skis have been sitting there in original wrap since the first hip operation  in Oct 2015 . ., been two years rehabbing from an original surgery then a reconstructive surgery on the same hip which let loose because the device was simply not long enough .

So hope i can get my head back in the game.  I will be 75 in May 0f 18 , so it is an uphill climbafter 2 yrs on the bench , but i will give it a shot

Make sure you check those skis with a true bar
Most new skis need a tuned to get them flat before skiing
Skis that have been sitting in the wrapper for 2 years are not likely to be flat anymore
