Nice round today a 40 , had 39 but blew a 4 footer ugh . I had a 42 monday so i guess after 6 rounds on this new course i started this season, my groove is running at 41 .

The Queen bought a new to me Cobra AMP Cell adjustable 3-4 wood for my BD .

I will still use my 2 hybrid off the deck for stuff between 180 -195 ' but on this course there is a long par 3 and the 2 hybrid wasn't enough club . Supposed to arrive saturday bought it slightly used from Global Golf , decent price for a club ill use maybe 1-3 times per round

Im back using a VERY old trick for just off the  green's apron . So using a choked 3 wood ( down on the shaft ) a la TigerWoods to bump n run and get it rolling close to the pin ,works pretty good . I have a very very old metal wood 3 that this new to me Cobra will replace .

How is the new gear working out.

The New club stuck it on the green off the tee on the longer par 3 approx 225 yds

Great week this week shot 42 ,40, 37    game is starting to come around .

Big silly stick starting to get some distance nowfor an old guy  as roll has returned.  2 approx 275. The rest were on the short grass too 220 to 235 range . approach is really strong this yr which is a welcome change .putting has always been fairly good. Still learning this new course and its idiosyncrasies.

Great week a pair of 38's . Got an eagle yesterday on a 525 yd par 5 . New ( to me )adjustable  Cobra amp cell 3-4 wood found the green 6 ft from the pin approx 235 out . Weather been so dry you now get lots of bounce and roll off the silly stick .

Just got back in. Tiger tied for the lead in the British Open!

I'm curious: who roots for Tiger?

Tiger played well and seems to have turned the page .Molinari has simply been error free all season and played Carnasty as well as it can be done in the wind .

My game after 20 rounds is steady for me average is plus 4 or 40 and 1.77 putts /hole. Been really happy with GIR results this season .changed a few little details in my swing that really seemed to keep things on the short grass.

Looking forward to seeing some green fairways again tho

Agree. What a fun tourney to watch. That Rory Eagle, Adam Scott, Tiger.

In the end, though, the Italian was just consistent as hell. No bogeys. Amazing.

Yeah man --- Rory made a bomb! How cool was that.

I found it hard to believe that he was the first Italian to ever win a major championship in the history of golf. That's cool.

Ryder Cup this week

BOOM Tiger is Da Man. Best sports on TV yesterday.  Rose help on by the skin of his teeth.  That would have been epic if he pulled that off.  Rose looked so pumped when he saw he cleared the bunker on 18.

Might be my favorite event. On right now. Phil is playing like shit. He should ride the pine for the remaining team matches.

I was of the opinion that he should not have even made the team.  He should be a captain.  I am an early bird and it is awesome waking up at 4:30 and watching the best golf tournament of them all.  

What about new gear?

Did I miss something?  what are you talking about did you get your bike.  That new pivot LT 29er coming in at 26 lbs. is pretty hot.
