Or when the same folks drive 2 feet off of your rear bumper while traffic is going 65 on route 28 on the way to Gore.

Being someone who was from the Northeast and now I am in Metro Detroit, It gets on my nerves when people complain about any ski area in the Northeast. I have to drive an hour to ski a 300' hill.

You could drive a lot farther and go to Mt Bohemia and get some decent vert and usually good snow.

Detroit to Mt Bohemia   594 miles -  9hr 57min
Detroit to Gore      546 miles - 9hr  16 min

Mt Bohenia is really in the middle of nowhere.

The same Luxury SUV drivers who feel they have to cross over the double yellow lines just to make the corners, they are the  ones braking. Bad drivers are a dime a dozen.

guys who ask,"can you really ski on those fat skis?" and then say they are perfectly satisfied with their 66mm waist parabolic ski from 20 years ago.

When the racers ski at race speed on open runs, especially when they do it in large groups.  It makes me feel like I am in the middle of a firing squad and I have been inches away from being taken out multiple times.

I hate to say it because my nephews are snowboarders and good, and I do believe that they are great for the economics of snow sports, but I hate when I hear one coming behind me especially on a typical Eastern Day with Hpack , sounds like a truck, but such is life, don't really hate them but was at Alta for a few days and must say I didn't miss them.

The drive to Mt Bohemia is closer to 12 hours due to the type of roads you have to drive on

Thanks for the update. I was mapped it on google. I would love to go to Mt Bohemia, but is easier to take a trip almost anywhere out West from the East Coast rather than hit this place.
