I went out on a solo mission yesterday to harvest some mid-winter corn snow on a new line (for me).
Looking back at the area from my skin track.

The objective was the line that runs from the upper left hand corner and down to the center of the photo. It starts out on a thin hanging snowfield that rolls away into the exposure below. About half way down it pinches off into a couloir and gets very steep. the exit on most years is a mandatory drop but yesterday it had a 2 foot wide straight line ramp on the skiers left side. It was very exciting!

This is the Middle Heck No shot and it's looking sexy as ever. I really wanted to drop into this but I forced myself to move further up the ridge to my objective. This has just been added to my short list. The entrance is wicked steep. there is an exit skiers right into the South Heck No just above the last rock outcropping in the center. I've always overlooked this line for the more obvious ones on either side.

Rustler Peak North had some nice looking cream on it.
