Tmz is def on TV and way better than fox
Dude, a quick google search revealed that TMZ on TV is a Monday through Friday syndicated TV show airing mostly on Fox affiliates.  It started on-line though and that's still it's primary venue

Puck it is a funny dude...wish he posted here.

I'm here to learn and gather information. I just wish people on ski forums were more open about sharing their opinions.

I skied as a kid and was pretty decent but now I haven't skied in years. I started coming here to check out the pictures in the reports section.   Pictures from Plattekill remind me of skiing in Catskills as a kid.  Not sure why I come to the forum in summer

Like, if I want to ski the North side of Giant Mountain, who would I even talk to?
There is nothing on the North side of Giant that I know of and if there were it would take a lot to get too. But ask Drew at the Mountaineer. There are a ton of things in that area though, some are a short hike and some amazingly fun things if you want to put in more effort.

Thanks, had not hiked or skied that trail. I was thinking you might like this more, it is closer and a really good adventure.

It's one place I have enjoyed.

Matt, the first portion of that route (to the Owl's Head Lookout) is a pretty popular xc tour.  It's written up in Tony Goodwin's Classic Adirondack Ski Tours guidebook.  I hadn't heard about people skiing the two miles above that, to the lean-to, but the description in your link sounds excellent.  Shoot me an email if you're looking for a partner.

Give up some info on BC spots please
I know i'am trying to get it the easy way but my time is limited for recon trips and i'am a beginning BCer. I came here cause I was looking for info on Bobcat and got linked to a great article in the magazine of NYSkiblog. I get some great inside stuff from you skiers and it's also quite entertaining reading some rants.
