I got my NY STAR "refund" check ($450) AND my IKON pass on the same day...sweet!

Hey guys, before I go to Ebay, you all have first dibs on an IKON bumper sticker, sew on patch, key chain fob that's like the size of a baby's fist, pin, window sticker, assorted stickers that I think you can now call helmet size, and a couple of really big post cards. Hurry up, this stuff is rare and valuable! Don't you wanna be cool this winter?

On another ski forum, there are people who haven't got their Ikon package yet.  Last year the mailings were spread out over 4-8 weeks even for people who bought relatively early.

I didn't have mine before I started driving north the weekend before Thanksgiving.  Killington created one for me when I skied there the Monday before Thanksgiving.  They could tell that my package had been created and mailed.  Told me to throw out the card that came in the package when I got home.

Probably not opening day but me and junior got there the second or third week last year. Probably do that again at least.

I no longer hit opening weekend, but usually get out shortly there after.

How many is "we"?

It depends who is going, I am from upstate NY before this area and try to get to Vermont as often as I can, one friend had a week day pass last year and went every other week

Since this is an Ikon pass thread, I'm assuming that you have one, and will be using it at Killington. So, why are you wasting one or two of your, at most, seven days there to ski snowmaking on like three trails, or Thanksgiving, which is usually life threatening, because of the crowd vs trail ratio, and it's all ice? There's still months of much better to ski. Hell, they always have good deals for the yout of America in early January, to start.

just stumbled onto this site it's cool to ski anywhere skiers in general rock! I like the endless tree skiing at the beast I had season pass last year just got a midweek this season and will catch a few snow storms that go elsewhere, an old friend I ran into is now legally blind super cool guy, anywhere you can go is cool

Icon is a great idea as well, I had a season pass as a kid at Stratton used to hit the state ski dorms at Stowe, I like the 3 covered lifts at Killington and they put at chair back on the south ridge and easy to get there
