Taking the GFS verbatim , 1-2 ft isn't out of the realm of possibilities for WF
But it will be blowing a gale....50+ at elevation..

Looks like a nice hike might be in order on Sunday AM.  Just so happens I have not got anything going that day.

There's always some people who need to take it as some kind of competition and make sure to go up the night of the storm (there might even be people there now).

I'm fine heading up tomorrow.

Looks like the storm has stalled over the ADKs right now, now it's just a question of how low the temps can get at specific elevations.

That map also shows why we love Plattekill so much. That little spot of black way down southwest of the big storm must be right over Roxbury. They already posted a vid of their flurries on Instagram. I'm looking forward to your pics guys

already snowing at whiteface, wouldn't shock me to see 12 inches at the summit.  Even gore will see snow at elevation

Cool storm so far. Warm in the cities, snow in the mountains. I could get used to this!

Who gets the most out of this storm by the end? I am guessing Jay.... lots of upslope potential as it pushes off and temps stay cold...

Snowing hard in the central Adirondacks, just drove through Tupper , snow sticking on rt 30 about half way to Long Lake. Really piling up on 28 from LL to newcomb, NYS plows are out. Slushy 2-3" on the roads from Newcomb over Minerva Hill. Glad the snows were on the truck.

YES, WF opening on 11/19 just got even more probable.  Was also talking to my dad about meeting up for an early season Killington trip, so I might get to start even earlier.

I think the above map might happen...I said it before..It's bad JuJu...

wouldn't be surprised if the region is flirting with 60's + next week tho..
