Fall Weather 2018

Frost warnings in the north:

My kingdom for some actual fall weather.
It's not that hot this humidity just bites.

This coming weekend?

Hurricane moisture plus cold front ... One month later with colder overall temps and it could have been nice.

In the NEK this past weekend it never got out of the 40's, and the Jay Cloud was as thick as it can get.

Starting Monday, and lasting for about 2 weeks, it looks like Killington might have the temps for snowmaking just about every night up at the top.

Looks like another October where we'll be skiing at Killington. That means skiing in less than 20 days.

Sweet.

Jason --- can you PLEASE stop the rain.

Wow past two days have been spectacular on the golf course , beautiful shorts weather and brilliant leaves up here . Season probably ends after today tho so was fun getting these two bonus days after the damn rain .

First flakes in the forecast for lots of places in the ADK's tonight and tomorrow morning. Hard to believe in just over a month we could be skiing

You're welcome.    I'm driving my NC minivan with regular tires to Lake Placid on Oct. 19 for the weekend to visit friends.  The last time I drove to LP without skis was the weekend before Thanksgiving in 2013.  It snowed 8+ inches starting early Sunday morning and I ended up driving for 4 hours in the snow.  Didn't stop snowing until I came down into Springfield, MA.  I was certainly not expecting to have snow on the road in October!

Thing I miss most is the FIS Lionel Hutz early season weather breakdowns telling us when we'll have skiable snow.

Whites might get something out of this.

 I get the riding the bike to ski thing but why isn't his bike strapped to his back when he's skiing back down?

Last year was a record year for the Alps..Rarely do they have 2 consecutive good years..
