I agree, not a real heavy rain. Looks like intermittent showers maybe a period of light rain. Both Saturday and Sunday..

What does it look like a week out? Hints at some snow?

big rain storm next Thurs and Fri followed by arctic air..

it is still 6 days out, but the models have been consistent in bring a low to our left


     

This late week storm is going set back every mountain in the Northeast.  The rainfall is going to measured in inches, and the temps are going to reach the 50's.  Christmas week looks like a dud.

Any sign of a turn around in temps after Christmas?

Terrible timing, seems to happen every year.... Great skiing all this month only to get totally destroyed Xmas week.  It's known as a Grinch storm and this year is no different.  Inches of rain and warmth are on the way for Friday.  Going to take time to recover from this.....

looks like a warm up after  Christmas followed by some colder air around New Years..not a very encouraging forecast..
but it's still a ways away..

First day of winter and they're predicting upper 50's for temps

that's a kick right in the junk

Friday - warm and rain followed by 3 days of good snow making weather. If they get going quick they can recover.
