Gulf water temp is 81. Beach time is always a good prep for a long snowy winter.

I say Jay Peak gets 20". I'm even thinking of road tripping it.

Sunday River says they got a foot out of the storm last Wed.  Open today with just the Locke Mountain Triple but can load at mid-station to lap a short black and there is a blue route top-to-bottom.

The Ikon website has a list of Opening Dates.  The OPEN NOW list includes Killington and Sunday River, with Sugarloaf as TBD.

I was hiking earlier in the week, those areas that are just grass over slab rock are saturated, you sink with each foot step into mud right through the grass. I am surprised we have not had a few new mud slides. Everything is water logged.
