Whiteface just updated to "4-10" assuming thats base to summit-ish

Magic had 14" at the base and 20" plus at the summit from this storm, and it was still snowing this morning.  Amazing base snow for the season.

Looks like Mad and maybe Magic are opening tomorrow.

Granted I missed the big part of the storm but, this is still pretty cool.

Shit.

Stratton is claiming 21" in the last 24 hrs.  Bromley is claiming 12"-14". Magic had no power most of today.

Mount Snow lost power but got the lifts going around 11:00am.  Snow had 15 inches of powder.  Okemo closed mid-morning.  Had to fire up generators to get people off the lifts.  Trees all over the roads in the area.  The people I know who were skiing at Snow and Okemo had a very good time for a few hours at least.

Picking up a few inches at home, really heavy and wet.  Bristol webcam shows a couple on the ground, but nothing much to be excited about.

Hoping to have enough to slide for a XC ski on Friday.  This storm is supposed to bring 6-10 around here, but so far it's pretty light.

That's not splitting hairs that's changing the rules!

I use the calendar dates because it emphasizes how mother nature can't be contained!

Meteorological winter should be changed to Nov 15 - Apr 15.
