Nope, don't forget at all. I have an RCI timeshare myself and I couldn't even give it away if I wanted too.

Fantastic conditions Saturday, Sunday and today! I took the day off to get another day in.  It's so nice to leisurely arrive at 9:45 and have the parking lot be empty!

I was parked right next to the big tailgate yesterday (red Suzuki).  On my way out at around 11:30, I asked the only guy I saw in camo if he was "Camp." He had no idea what I was talking about.  Nice to meet you John, whoever you are... :)

:) At least he was friendly. The last chair 5 tailgate I tried to hang out at was less than friendly...

Is he the dude with the Dead sticker on his helmet?  I have always been fascinated by the way that guy's beard splits in half when his going downhill.  :)

John is one of the nicest/greatest guys you could ever want to meet. He's a retired school teacher who worked with special needs kids up in Cuse. I would imagine that his students loved him.

You should've hung out ---- this party has turned into an all mountain event. I bet there were close to 100 peeps that came and went. Stop by next year --- Super Bowl Sunday 11 to 4ish

There's a reason that there isn't a Ferrari dealership  in Cortland and they've already built quite a Ferrari in HLL right in Virgil. That said the Hotel looked to have a lot  of cars parked in the lot, it was nice to see
Yeah, but there's a Nissan Dealership in Cortnland! Who needs a Ferrari dealership? A GM/chev would be good.

I hear ya.  Fractional ownership was actually a positive concept when it was first introduced decades ago, but unfortunately, the times have changed, and costs have skyrocketed. You are not alone in terms of seeing the value of your timeshare decline. The latest craze over the past decade is the points concept, where you don't actually purchase a period in time, but rather points that can be exchanged based on the season, accommodation type, and so on. The developer hooks you into purchasing a small amount of points, and then when you realize that they are impossible to redeem, they sell you more points. Wyndham is one of the worst with this scheme, and folks dig themselves in so deep that they are barely able to make ends meet. Then as you said, good luck trying to sell it.

I actually like the points --- it allows us to go for 2 or 3 days at a clip vs an entire week. It works better for us that way.

That's great that you are using them. Some people either throw in the towel or dig themselves in deeper. It all depends upon the resort and management company.

Free PR is always good.

FYI, GP picked up 12 inches according to the snow report. I was going to head to Killington tomorrow, but they only received 13, so may save myself some driving and head to GP. It should be a good weekend.

Yes, it’s awesome today.  I’ll post some pics later.

Definitely one of the best days of the season to date!

Today may have been the first time Zeus was open this season.

Patrol dropping the ropes on Mars Hill.  There was about 3 to 4 inches of fresh powder on top of last nights grooming all the way down.

Bottom of Mars Hill

Lots of fresh powder in the trees off of Mars Hill.
Great day of skiing with more snow in tomorrow’s forecast!

Going to be a great weekend though, regardless of the dubious trail count!

Get out there and get it.

Great skiing today!   No line at Visions, but many chairs filled.  All lifts running and grooming is nice.
